We have chosen to be Red Havanese hobby breeders because we have fallen in love with the charm, personality, and unique red coat color of this delightful breed. A genuine love drives our commitment to responsible breeding. We aim to preserve and enhance the breed's qualities, health, and temperament while promoting the beauty of the rare red coat variety. The Havanese breed was nearly extinct after the tumultuous Cuban Revolution in the 1950s. These beautiful dogs were preserved thanks to the dedication of Cuban exiles who brought Havanese to the United States. In the 1970s, there were only 11 Havanese dogs in the U.S., but through the unwavering efforts of passionate individuals, we've seen their population grow to around 4,000 registered Havanese in the country. 

As hobby breeders, we produce a limited number of puppies, enhancing the exceptional rarity of our Red Havanese genetic lineage and further emphasizing its uniqueness. 

Each year, we thoughtfully evaluate whether it will be our final litter, making every new addition a truly special continuation of this exceptional breed.
